Scrambled eggs with a thymely twist

Nothing demonstrates devotion more than a lovingly prepared Valentines Day brunch. Add a pinch of the romance of the Near East to yours with this easy recipe. Serves 2 lovebirds…


Scrambled egg with zaatar

Ingredients:

Knob butter

4 eggs

Pinch salt

2 tsp About Thyme Zaatar


Method:

Lightly melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat.

Add the egg and a pinch of salt to the pan and slightly raise the heat to medium.

Stir occasionally until all the runny egg is gone and the texture is firmer.

(Some prefer the eggs lightly done, others prefer a solid consistency.)

Sprinkle the zaatar over the eggs, chives and mint.


For extra luxury, add slices of smoked salmon or avocado…
