Mediterranean Breakfast

Perfect for breakfast and tea time with its irresistible baking smell, a Manoushé has been a center breakfast element on any Lebanese breakfast table.

By far the most famous ingredient in Manoushé is the all-time favourite: Classic About Thyme Spread on pizza dough. Plain and simple.

Homemade Dough Ingredients:

3 cups of flour

1/4 cup of oil

2 tbs spoon dry milk

1 cup lukewarm water

1 tsp salt

1 tbs yeast

1 tsp baking powder (optional)

Roll out the dough, using a rolling pin-, cut the dough into circles, and top each with 1-2 tbs of About Thyme Zaatar mixture.  Spread the mixture with your hand making sure all the dough is covered.

Spread some AboutThyme, a mix of Thyme, Olive Oil, Sumac, sesame and a pinch of salt.

Bake in a 350C oven until fully baked about 10 -15 minutes.

Serve with olives, yoghurt, fresh mint and tomatoes.
